I'm trying to locate the marriage of Zachariah Goff and Elizabeth Bettle in Cranfied. According to the Familysearch website, they were married on 18.09.1856. I have checked this against the BMD listings 1855-1859 but cannot find any entry under either name.
I would be very grateful if anyone going to Bedford Record could check this out for me. I would like to obtain a copy of their marriage certificate.

Tazzie & Alan,
Thank you very much. I used The Genealogist BMD to search and, after receiving your replies, checked on FreeBMD and again on The Genealogist.
The marriage was there all the time, I had left the box ticked as birth instead of marriage, so I think that I must need a brain transplant!
Thanks again, and what a friendly and helpful set of people use this board.
