Hi moors

Probably this Holly Hill

http://www.fareham.gov.uk/town/activities/places/hollyhill.asp

The coach house is now an Italian Restaurant

Fareham has it's own Museum (Westbury Manor) which you can contact via

http://www.hants.gov.uk/museum/westbury/

Was their something specific you were looking for ?

And if it is Holly Hill Mansion (not house?) that you are looking for (as mentioned in the link given by Wendi) it is still there in Barnes lane, and is now a residential home.

Thank you for the replies.
Holly Hill Sarisbury Green in 1920 I have a photo of this house, believe my Mother was in service there, I found the people living there in 1920 period were George and Katherin Winn (info. Winchester records office)
It was in 1920 my Grandfather came out of the army and went to Park Farm Titchfield I believe a farm settlement, which I believe that when men came out of the army could go to to learn a" trade". In 1921 he was at Coach Hill with my Grandmother (info. Winchester records office) my Mother was 15 years, I know she was in service when she first started working and as Sarisbury Green and Titchfield are near one another I feel this is the answer.
I live in Ringwood and would like to visit these places in the coming weeks and any info. on these places would be helpful.

Hi moors

Titchfield has it's own website !

http://www.titchfield.net/history.asp

I think the Park Farm has gone, but Fareham Museum could tell you more....

Hi Moors,

At Holly Hill I don't think you can see the house from the road. However, if you go into the Holly Hill car park (in Barnes Lane) you can walk through the woodlands and if you get the right path, you will go right behind the house. There is also a small road through the trees that goes directly to the house. There's a map on a board in the car park.

Regards
