married March 31st 1838 by banns in the church of Monkleigh Devon.
the witnesses were John King and William Lile, these guys could be just anybody but was wondering if they were related , so please could someone have a look up on the 1841 / 1851 census maybe their wifes might tie in with my Parkhouses / Beers - long shot i know

Philip BEER 25 publican
Eliza BEER 25
George BEER 3
Lewis BEER 1
Philip BEER 7 months
Mary PARKHOUSE 65 nurse
Mary White 20 F S

Maybe the William LILE was a friend and Neighbour to the Beer family

Love the fact that Philip's surname is BEER and he is a PUBLICAN  Grin

 Smiley

IGI extracted

William LILE
Mary ANN CHAPMAN
Marriage 1 April 1804 Monkleigh

so no connection there to your BEER and PARKHOUSE families!

In 1861:
Kenwyn , Cornwall
Philip BEER head mar 46 school master b Monkleigh
Eliza wife mar 46 b Monkleigh
Lewis son unm 21 miner b Bideford
Philip son unm 19 miner b     "
Mary Jane dau unm 17 scholar    "
Elizabeth unm dau 16 scholar

Looks like Philip likes to change his occupation ! Smiley

also in 1861 Margaret BEER (b 1811 , unknown POB)  looks like she is staying as a boarder with Thomas Beer (mason, 50), Mary Beer 51 b Buckland Brewer and their son Thomas , also a mason , 15. All living in the Village of Monkleigh.

This Thomas BEER , mason, maybe the same Thomas who was living next door to the LILE family in 1841 (see previous post)

ummm I wonder if Thomas BEER, mason, is the brother of Philip Beer, publican/accountant/school master ?

IGI Extracted info
Christenings:

Philip BEARE 15 Nov 1812 Monkleigh
Thomas BEARE 30 Dec 1810 Monkleigh
Parents:
John BEARE and Ann

I am thinking that the LILE and Beer family were friends
