Hi there, Just a quick note wondering if the name "Christmas Mabel Coley" of Bridgnorth rings any bells with anyone ? Christmas was born in 1897 in Whitburn Street Bridgnorth daughter of John Fellows Coley (tin plate business ) John died in 1899, and his wife Lucy later took over the business. But I can find no mention of a marriage or death for Christmas ?? - any help very much appreciated.

HAve you got her in 1901 (she is on index, but I havent got full access) so she lived till at least age 3 ish.
where have you looked for her marriage/death? Have you just looked on the partial BMD database, or been through the full indexes? (pay to view on various sites)
HAve you any later references to her - e.g mebtioned in mother's will, witness on sisters marriage, for example. with a name like Christmas she should be easy to identify!!

Hi again Margaret,
From my records I see that Mrs John COLEY ( Lucy Ann, nee BROWN ) of Whitburn Street, sold her Stock in Trade, Tin ware tools, etc. in 1907.
When she was buried in Bridgnorth in 1942, Lucy Ann was living in Perry Barr, Birmingham.
Perhaps you need to look in that direction for the marriage of her daughter.
