New to rootschat please can any one find my grandmother, she was born in

Stanton Harcourt, 1857 her fathers name was George Harrison.

The 61 says George was born in Enston.

Enston is probably Enstone, one of the largest parishes in Oxfordshire, situated 15 miles north west of the city of Oxford.

There isn't really an earlier census, your best bet would be parish records  Undecided

There is a marriage, Mar Q, 1857 Witney
George Harrison
Elizabeth Batts

That could give you Georges fathers name if it is the correct George.

There is a baptism in Enstone of a George Harrison 15 March 1818.  Parents Edw Harrison and Fran.

Have just checked the 1841 census entry and the person with George on that census is Frances/Francis but is female and therefore almost certainly his mother.
If you check that website I gave you there are a lot of children baptised with parents Edward and Frances.

I don't know if you need this. But Edward Harrison married Frances Cross 1st October 1789 at Enstone witn George Harrison and Mary Chadbon.

Aslo at Enstone burial 22nd January 1840 Edward Harrison aged 78.

I have Enstone parish register so if I can help you further just let me know.

George Harrison son of Edward married Elizabeth Batts d William. At Stanton Harcourt 22nd January 1857. Witn William Batts Thomas Bennett Jane Batts Rhoda Harrison and  Mary Batts.

Fanny Ann Harrison  servant daughter of George Harrison occ Woodman married John Brett gardener from Launton son of Edward railway servant. At Stanton Harcourt3rd June 1890. Witn Edward William and Elizabeth Jane Harrison.
