Hi there. I looking for any information on my great great grandmother Charlotte Ross (married surname as maiden name is unknown) born 1843 or 1851 in Cork, Ireland, who married a George Ross born in England possibly in Christian Malford, Wiltshire area in 1845 about. They had four children George Ross born 1873/4, Albert Ross born 1876/7, Alice Ross born 1879, and William Ross born 1886. All possible birth places for all these children were Warwickshire in the 1891 census, Cheltenham in the 1901 census, and Derby in the 1881 census. I am looking for any birth and marriage certificates. All I have is two marriage certificates, one for George Ross born 1873/4, who married a Esther Stockton, and the other one a marriage certificate for Albert Ross born 1876/7, who married Naomi Butler. you could try ordering one of the childrens birth certificates
i see this one-
george ross born sept qtr 1873 derby vol 7b p 446
it might be him maybe it will be worth a chance?

Hi there. I did order that birth certificate, but it was the wrong George Ross. There were two of them born in the same year, same month, same place. I know there are two of them because in the 1901 census, one of them was still living in Derby and married to a Harriot, and the other one, which I was looking for, was living in Worcester during the 1901 census as well, and this one lived in Herefordshire before living in Worcester and he married Esther Stockton in Kiddiminster. I have details for her as it was him I was looking for. I have his married certificate.
