Can anyone help me with a marriage for William Radborne/Radbone and Frances please? A Rootschatter kindly found two daughters, Sophia bpt 19.09.1813 and Ann bpt 08.10.1815 at St. Thomas's in Oxford. If Sophia was the eldest child I would guess the marriage was between 1809 - 1813. William was a labourer.
Sorry, not much luck with the OFHS's Oxfordshire Marriage Index (1538-1837) for any William/Frances marriage, checking surnames RADBORN(E), RADBOURN(E). RADBURN(E) and RADBON(E).
This one caught my eye from the point of view of the groom's name and date:
12 APR 1812 - William RADBONE to Mary WATHALL at OXF St. Mary Mag.
but the bride's name is wrong.

It looks like William & Frances may have married in another county. At the birth of Sophia, William was a labourer, but two years later when Ann was born, he was a boatman. Their daughter Sophia married Charles Busby, also a boatman, so maybe I should check the villages on the canal system.
