Looking for Alexander Muir b. abt 1803 and parents Alexander Muir mariner, and Christina nee Coulthorpe.
Alexander jnr married Mary Graham, daughter of Donald Graham and Flora, nee Henderson, 4.6.1827 Glasgow, Lanark - children John, Alexander, Jean, Daniel and Flora died infants,  Catherine, James, Mary, Ebenezer.
Anything on Muir, Graham, Coulthorpe, Graham, Henderson would be most helpful.

this is about the best i can come up with my friend

christina coulthorpe born argyll 1781

married alexander muir 1802

had son alexander muir 1803

cannot find any of the two of them on the 1841 census

cannot find donald graham on the 1841 census

all i can find is:

1841 census

king street, kingston(gorbals) glasgow

alexander-age 37- merchant seaman
mary- age 34
john-age 13
alexander- age 10
flora- age 8
jean-age 5
catherine- age 2
daniel- age 7 months

1841 census

do not know if this is your graham family/

Many thanks for your efforts, yes that is my Muir family, Alexander (son) emigrated to Australia with 4 of his children.  Don't know about the Graham line though, don't think it is mine, still who knows!! kind regards Whisky
