Hi mike, David & John, I have John Spring and Mary Cox with children also John Spring and Ann Pedder. Would you have the 1841 census for Samuel born 1810 as i never did get round to find him also William Cant with his grandfather in 1841 as you mentioned. I do have my line Samuel Spring with Abigail and children. I am very grateful for your help and appreciate it. Gladys

Hi Gladys,
Janan beat me to it with the census, but I did find a death record for a John Spring in Woburn district in 1844. Might explain his absence from the 1851. Still haven't found later references to William.
Mike
PS to John. My Partridge ancestors were all in south Essex since at least 1785, and possibly previously in the Stepney area.
