Caroline COOK(E)
« on: Wednesday 13 June 07 20:03 BST (UK) »

Hi Please can I request a look up please.
I am looking for information on Caroline Cook/Cooke. She was born in Maret Rasen Lincolnshire 1867.
She lived in the household of Charles Wells aged 14 in 1881 census
She was a domestic servant/cook in a girls school in 1891 in Doncaster.
I cannot find anymore information after that census. I know she was the sister of my greatgrandfather John Cook/Cooke and he lived in Doncaster at that time. I also know she had a brother Charles Clark Cook who married Betsy Wells in Lincoln.
I would like to find if she married or in fact died can any one help please
regards Janet

Hi again Emma
I just wanted to say thank you again. Through your help I have the 1901 census with Caroline working as a Cook/domestic servant for Margaret Rhodes and that sure is my girl. I have since found a marriage in 1904 of Caroline. At the moment I am not 100% certain but I think it could be my grandmother's aunt caroline. It would be nice to find who she married but that is for another day.
many thanks and kind regards janet
