Hi,
could anyone please find this family for me.
Henry Jones b. 1811 Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Ellen Jones b. 1812 Parwich, Derbyshire
Charles Jones b. 1833 Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Emma Jones b. 1835 Ashbourne, Derbyshire
James Jones b. 1837 Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Mary Ann Jones b. 1840 Ashbourne, Derbyshire
They are in Ashbourne and were always in Ashbourne the only st address I have for them is King St. Any other Jones in Ashbourn is my jones. I would really appreciate someone doing this lookup. All the best Anjo

There are at least seven families named Jones on King Street in 1841 and one is a Henry/Ellen but the dates and children differ.
Derbys 1841 Piece 2521 Folio 14
121 King Street Ashbourne
Henry Jones , Head Married, 49 yrs Brewer
Ellen Wife 51yrs
Samuel Son 18yrs Brewer
Benjamin Son 15yrs
Sarah Dau 12yrs
All born Ashbourne except Ellen who is born Parwich.

You are an absolute star. I have been wanting that info for ages. Could I impose on you to tell me the other families on King st (The Jones) They are all related and It would help my tree enormously.
The ages are really curious as The ages fit the 1851 census
If you take the ages of the children as 8, 5 and 2. and the "ones" were check marks.
henry and Ellen had Samuel 1843, Benjamin 1846 and Sarah Ann 1848.

I am so confused by this entry.
in 1851 the family looked like this
Henry Jones 39 Brewer
Ellen Jones 40
Emma Jones 16
James Jones 13
Mary A Jones 10
Samuel Jones 8
Benjamin Jones 6
Sarah A. Jones 3
Living on King st, Ashbourne.
I played with the idea of Henry being another Henry possibly his father but what are the chances of another Henry Jones marrying an Ellen from Parwich??!!
Henry and Ellen were married in 1832 in Ashbourne
Why did he have the names of his next 3 children on his census. What a preminition.
As there were quite a few families of Jones on the street maybe the census guy just got confused another reason why I would like to see the other families on the street, If you could spare the time and effort for me, I would be most grateful. No rush, whenever you have a spare moment.

Yea sorry its me again. Just a thought are you sure you looked up the 1841?? This info fits with the 1861 census??
