Stonier Marriage
« on: Wednesday 13 June 07 23:38 BST (UK) »

Thanks to help from Tricia on my previous post I have been able to find my ggg grandfather Thomas Stonier on the 1841 in Macclesfield.  He is with his wife Amelia (Emelia) (Milley), both were born in Macclesfield.  Can anyone help me find their marriage and Amelia's surname ?  Thomas Stonier was born about 1806 and Amelia in about 1807.  I think their first child was Richard Stonier born about 1832 also in Macclesfield.
Thank you

Hi

Another spelling variation of the name Stonier with this marriage.

Thomas Stonehewer silk weaver married Amelia Barton sp. at Prestbury dated 25/January/1830.

Dear Peter
Thank you - for are a superstar.
How many ways could somebody spell Stonier! The permutations seem endless!
Thanks I feel sure it must be them as Amelia is a fairly unusual Christian name.

Would it be too much to ask you to take a look at the topic I have just posted about the Nadin or Naden or even Nodin family.  I am looking for a birth of Joshua Naden about 1823 - son of John - in order to try and get the mother's name.  A marriage for John and his missus would be icing on the cake!
Thank you

Don't know why I called myself Cheshiremog - 'LostinCheshire' would have been more appropriate!  Smiley
