Hope I am not overloading the system here asking for look ups ! But I have tried and tried - honest ! I am trying to find the last few missing persona so I can present my tree to my father who is 75 this year. So here goes.
Joshua Nadin m. Charlotte Pritchard in 1843 at St Peter's Macclesfield. Father of groom - John Nadin but I can not find John Nadin on the 1841 or 1851. He was a stonemason so the wedding cert says. Witnesses were Thos. Bardsley & Mary Ann Gregory.
I can find son Joshua Nadin on the 1851 aged 27 at Charlotte St, Macc b. Bollington, wife Charlotte 29 b. Macc, Children Elizabeth 6 b. Hurdsfield, Jane 4 b. Macc and John 2 b. Leek, Staffs. But I can not find Joshua Nadin's father John Nadin. I can't find Joshua on the 1841 either. Help Please!

The closest I have come to a John Nadin is this!!
1841 H0107/101/2 Folio 11 Page 16 Newton, Macclesfield Cheshire reg district Ashton under Lyne
I think it is victoria street
John Nodin age 46 lab born in county yes
Sarah age 30 born in county no

Thanks for your help
So Newton is in Macclesfield ?
I have taken a look but with only John and his wife Sarah on the census and the occupation having chnaged it is hard to tell if it is him.
If I could find Joshua Naden's birth record b. abt 1823 in the parish records with father named as John that might narrow it down more. Will I need to post anew topic to do this ?
Clever idea to look at Noden - I didn't think of that
