    Hi,    Would someone be able to check the 1841 Census for Tavistock Cornwall for a John Rowe who married a Mary Paull in Illogan in 1810. I have not been able to trace them through the census myself

Hi Dexter,

Do you have any further information on this couple as to their movements? Tavistock is in Devon. Illogan is in Cornwall, and quite a ways from the Devon Border. Do you expect to find them in Cornwall or Devon? Who were their Children? Where and when were their children born? When were John and Mary Born? John and Mary Rowe are extremely common names in Cornwall and Devon. Anything further you can tell us may help us to track them.

     Hi   Kris,

                Thank you for your help.As far as I know John Rowe was born in Tavistock around 1785 and Mary Paull was born around 1790 in Illogan.They had at least 4 children,Thomas,John,James and Sophie.I am sorry I do not know where the children were born or their dates of birth.
                 Anything that you can tell me will be great.

Mary PAULL=John ROWE
7 July 1810
Illogan

There is a submitted entry on IGI which shows:

Thomas  Henry Rowe
Birth approx 1812 Cornwall
parents: John Rowe and Mary Paull
death: 2 Aug 1875 Natti, Yallock, Victoria Australia
burial : 5 Aug 1875   "

can't seem to find Sophie...will look some more

there are also submitted entries on IGI re; their marriage:

Tavistock
