Trythall/Trythell Family, Cornwall
« on: Friday 18 November 05 21:40 GMT (UK) »

Looking for any Trythall/Trythell families that emigrated to the US mid to late 1800's, possibly William b. c1860, James b. c1842/1852

On the 1891 census, William is back in UK (Lancs) with a wife Rose and child James Hy b. 1889 Pennsylvania, USA

Thanks for any info

Did they stay in the UK?  Because I found a family that matches in 1900 and 1910 living in Pennsylvania.

1900 Zerbe Township, Northumberland, PA
William Trythall, b January 1861, England, married 12 years, immigrated 1886, occ. miner
Rose, b. June 1869, Germany, immigrated 1870
James, born April 1889, PA
Mira Ann, born June 1892, England
Margery Kate, b. Nov. 1896. PA
Maud A., born April 1899, PA

1910 PA Miracode index
Northumberland County, PA
William Trythall , England, age 50
Wife Mrs Rosa 39 Germany
James H 20 Pennsylvania
Mira A 17 England
Marjory K 13 Pennsylvania
Maud H 10 Pennsylvania
William F 8 Pennsylvania
Thomas 6 Pennsylvania
Samuel S 2 Pennsylvania
Ralph Pennsylvania

If this matches up, I found Rose in the 1920 Census as a widow with some children.  I can send this also.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking that they may have gone back to the US because I couldn't find them on the 1901 England census. The family you have found seems to be the right one.

Thankyou for looking Smiley
Best Wishes,
Catherine

I am interested in contacting Catherine who posted query about William & Rose Trythall in November of 2005. Just came across the message on a Google search which prompted me to become a Rootschate member. Wm & Rose are my greatgrandparents.

Hi rchaztry,

I have merged your post with Catherine's thread you are referring to. Didn't mean to mess you about. I first added it to the wrong thread but have now found the correct one.  Embarrassed

I am sure Catherine will be in touch soon

Kind Regards...........Kris  Cheesy
