Yes, especially if you have any references to a MORGAN=BIDMEAD (or variant) marriage, or have the extended tree back to Sir Henry.
For my particular interest, please review

Thanks & regards,

Hi Buttonmoon

I'm interested in any information on Lewis MORGAN b about 1800 in Llanover or Blaenavon he married Ann(e) WILLIAMS date and place unknown. In 1841 Census at Llanover Upper (Blaenavon Iron Works) he is shown as a Beer Retailer (On later censuses occupation Tailor) he has William MORGAN aged 60 a Tayler (sic) living with him who I am assuming is his father and the following children David Morgan abt 1826, Lewis Morgan abt 1829, Ann Morgan abt 1832, Mary Morgan abt 1840.

I know wife's name was Ann(e) WILLIAMS as their son Lewis was married and died in Scotland and mother's name is shown on certificates'.

Any information on Lewis and Ann or even William, if it was his father, would be great as I can't get any further back.

Regards
Robert Morgan

hi Buttonmoon,             I have an interest in  Henry Morgan born approx, 1820 at Blaenavon. his wife was from Abersychan [first name;mary] They had a son born in either Grandefferte  or Abersychan, depending on which census you read. Between his birth in 1859 approx, and the birth of their next child in approx,1862 they moved to swindon in wiltshire. This is about as much as I know at the present, I have not had great deal of success at trying to find them in Wales. One of their daughters was my gtgrandmother.Any help you can give me I would be eternaly gratefull  of. regards, john

Hi Robert, afraid I don't have a Lewis Morgan in my tree. I have gone back to 1780 with a William Morgan who was a Collier from Llanwenarth, so its in the same area but I imagine there were quite a few Morgan's around that area. Good luck with your search.

All the best
Kate.

Hi John, had a look for your Henry et al and I can't find them before the 1871 England census either. They're not on my tree so I'm afraid I can't be of much use to you. Hopefully someone else will pick up the message and be able to give you some details.

Regards
Kate.

hi, just to muddy the water; my family of Morgans in the 1871 census had a Thomas Morgan lodging with them, he was 23 years old,a blacksmith, unmarried and born in Victoria, Monmouthshire. I thought I would add this as all information, however trivial, may be of some use to someone. [ especially someone missing a Thomas Morgan] regards, john.
