Can anybody please help me find a RICHARD ROBERT PRATT born about 1833 in Norfolk. His wife's name is ELIZABETH born about 1834 also in Norfolk. I know of 1 child born about 1861 named ELIZABETH, she was born in Gateshead. Thanks

Yes, but only after a struggle .......LOL.
On C1871 they are over the river from Gateshead, in the Westgate part of Newcastle ( Page 5069-92-37) at 18 Moor St. Same address as on C1881 ( 5047-33-65)
The C1871 enumerator's handwriting is very poor. Ancestry's reading of the surname produced SPALL.
And the couple's ages seem each inflated by 10 yrs ( Ages on C1871 are same as on C1871)
Son Robert E on C1871 is Herbet E on C1881.
On C1871 there is a "Mother" ( this is supposedly relationship to the head of the h/h + Richard R ) Anna M Bainbridge ( indexed as Bambridge) widow 84 trs, born Norfolk... unable to read the birthplce within Norfolk.

On C1871 he is " Painter &  ? .
On C1881 he is "house decorator"
