The Cup and Saucer Tree
« on: Friday 15 June 07 16:22 BST (UK) »

Thank you Lloydy for allowing this strange request.  Wink

As a child we walked many times to the Cup and Saucer Tree on the road from Caersws to Llandinam, we would stand and admire it then turn and walk back to Caersws.  I am now reading The Cup and Saucer Tree by A R Lewis and on a recent visit home to Wales I went in search of the tree to take a photograph of it.

Alas, it has been cut down, I was very disappointed.  If I had read all of the book I would have known the tree had been cut down, because the Author also wanted a photograph of it and had found it gone.

My request is to ask if any kind person on this list has a photograph of The Cup and Saucer Tree would they share it with me?

Kind regards Shirley
