Bunnell and Thomas Death Records COMPLETED

The following two surnames were found in an old, family address book.
If possible, I would like to know the christian and maiden names of both
these ladies listed below.

They are:

Mrs. Bunnel , deceased 30 August 1878
 Spelling of Bunnel may vary.

Mrs Hugh Thomas,  No.3 - Childs Hill, Hampsteads???

Any other BMD information would be helpful.

They likely lived in one of the places below:

Elton Green, Parish Thornton le Moors and
 
Liscard, Wallasey, Poulton cum Seacombe areas

Your help would be most appreciated.

The only death in the Sep Qtr 1878 for a Bunnell is

Alice Bunnell age 0 district Birkenhead. There is a birth for Alice in the same period.

Perhaps it was the babe & not the mother who died on your date (so the birth record may give the mother's details) or the mother died elsewhere?

Have you tried the 1881 census at family search - may help with the names.

I will go back into the 1881 Census and look again for
Bunnell.  I did not have a Christian name, so maybe I
will be more successful this time.
