Genealogy: Chasing your own tale!
|
Hi everybody!
I am one of the people who took advantage of the old system (where Trystan did all the work!!) so my site is now 2 months and 2 days old!!
In that time I have had 369 hits!
I have also had lots of encouraging emails and PM's from visitors.
There are still zillions of things I would like to add, it is just finding the time!!
Once again I would like to say a huge Thank You Trystan and Rootschat for making my website possible.

Why not post a link to your Rootschat website below? Lets us all have a gander.

Well, after a few days of downloading, unzipping, uploading, deleteing & re-uploading, modifying, & re-modifying...
Here's my effort: http://ss-rhondda.rootschat.net/
It is a big learing process, and so I shall be making regular additions, alterations & adjustments. Would love to hear from anyone with links to my tree.

Amy, This is great, how did you learn so much about this man? I mean his height and everything!
Anyone who thinks family history is boring and it's just about collecting names and getting back as far as you can, or finding Royal or posh connections should look at your site!
I like the way you are portraying Charles's life as a narrative.
Many congratulations on an excellent piece of work, I think mine will be very very boring in comparison!
I've also reached the conclusion that buying birth certificates isn't a waste of cash as I'm having trouble trying to find my John Hopkins, I've ordered the certs of three likely lad's to see which is the best match with the info I have, as I can't rely on census info alone.
Meg.
