William YOUERS B 1861
« on: Sunday 17 June 07 13:34 BST (UK) »

I have a small problem  Roll Eyes

My GG grandfather was William Youers, Married to Elizabeth Coleman in the 2nd quarter of 1882.

There are unfortunately 2 William Youers, born in 1861. One set of parents were Thomas Youers and Ellen Turner and the others were Richard Youers and Rebecca Mealing.

Are there any parish records or something to find out which were the parents?

I would be extremely grateful for any help on this.

His 1882 marriage certificate should give father's name.

Hi Ann

The William YOUERS (Carpenter) born circa 1861 who married Ann Ives in 1889 at Trinity Chapel, Easton Street, Wycombe Buckinghamshire, father was Thomas YOUERS born circa 1839. He was also a Carpenter.

William Youers and Ann Youers (nee Ives) also had a son in 1892 called William Thomas.

It is possible that Thomas Youers and Richard Youers were brothers.

Hope this helps you.

Regards

Alan aka awp_44.

Thank you for searching that out for me Alan. It would seem that the William Youers I am interested in is the son of Richard and Rebecca. This also means that William was the brother of Thomas Inkerman Youers, who RobertS is researching.

Thank you again
