Go directly to Births, Deaths and marriages.
then in the box thats states
Complete BMD Index ranges & Images 1837-1983
click on death for 1838 to 1983 and fill in the required boxes.

Thanks to Celia and Mel, I found them both:
John Winder, age 73, Wirral, Vol. 10A Page 793 -- Oct/Nov/Dec 1968
Elsie Kathleen Winder, age 84, Birkenhead, Vol. 37, Page 0756 -- July/Aug/Sep 1976
The search was time consuming, but well worth it.

Hi Kathleen
well those death years did you good I was able to do the tracker search in the wallasey library just come back.I had a very successful search.I have to type the finding,but for now i can tell you that John & Elsie spent at least 40 years at 34 Gorseyville Road.So Probably all their married lives.

Celia,
In your PM, you said that Gorseyville Road disappeared from the Directory, so as a matter of interest, I'll mention that there is a picture of the area that I posted on the Photo Restoratiion Board about two weeks ago. Maybe someone will know what the road is called now.
The house in question is the one with a check mark/arrow above the roof.

It was Probably in a different Directory I had forgotten i had the Wirral Street A/Z Atlas. It covers the whole of wirral i wouldn't be without it now..I bought it originally because sometimes it took me ages to find a street then the house where somebodies Grandmother was born.One time in desperation and after asking three people who said they lived in that area,i went to the Town hall,and they pointed me in right direction.I would never have found it otherwise because it was only what i can describe in a maze of streets.Not viewable from anywhere
Now i don't get lost
