Hi
Has any one got any Brewer 's on their tree.
I have been searching for Catherine Brewer b1805 in Bow Brickhill Bucks. It appears her Birth was not registered. Have checked this on parish records. But would love to know who her mother and father were.and any brothers or sisters.I have her marriage but more info needed before then.

If anyone can help find these people it would be wonderfull.

My nan was a Brewer, her family I originally thought came from the Windsor area of Bucks however, research has revealed that her father came from Clyffe Pypard, Wilts, his father came from Melksham, Wilts and then they go back to Langley Burrell/Castle Coombe for a few hundred years.  I have a Paul Brewer b. 1759 who married Ann Cole (Langley Burrell); they had William (1792), Emma (1820), John (1823), Mary (1825), Sarah (1827), and Elizabeth (1759).  If this looks as though it fits I can send you a bit more info.  The Brewers go back to 1650 in Wiltshire (confirmed by a very kind Rootschat member who did an RO lookup for me) and beyond (I have some parish record details that put Brewers in this area even earlier but it's hard to establish an exact line at present).

Hi - glad to see something about the Brewers & to learn more about them.  I have an Eden Brewer (d of John!) b Hadlow around the turn of 18/19th cent,  who married Thomas Hedges.  They travelled around a lot - Middlesex then Kent Surrey & Sussex.  I suspect they may have been travellers/Gipsies.  If this rings any bells with anyone, do please get in touch.

   HI....

 On IGI the first hit I found for Brewers in Bow Brickhill was.....

  Mary Brewer bap Bow Brickhill 1795 father Robert Mother Catherine
 others are....

  Samuel bap 1800
  Thomas bap 1803 died 1803( spelt Bruer)
  William bap 1807.

 It is possible that Catherine (if from this group) could be in the area around Bow Brickhill..ie Aspley Heath/ Woburn Sands/ Wavendon. I have Millards in the same area and they move around constantly. Have you had a look at the Bow Brickhill site it has a family history section...

 I may be able to turn something up in the records at the library....

Thank you to Tazzie ,Maggot,& Steph for your help. I don't have any of the other names yet ,but they are more to work on  Catherine  Brewer married a William Joyce and went on to live in Wavendon and had 7 daughters and 2 sons.
We visited Bow Brickhill last year to search the grave yard,it is a lovely place. Hope to have another visit soon.

Tazzie if you could have a look for me at the records library that would be great. Thanks for the link.
Will get back to maggot and Steph if I can find some connection.
