Hi
Could anyone tell me whether it's likely that someone born in Long Collingham could have had their birth registered in Basford?
Many thanks
Arkie..

Hi Arkie,
Long Collingham is, I believe, what is now known as North Collingham and has always been in the Newark registration district.
Anyone in particular you're looking for?

Hi Heather
Thanks for your reply.
I'm looking for information on a family named Holland.
At the moment I'm trying to trace the information to send for the birth cert of Henry Holland born circa 1839 in Long Collingham, Notts.

Thanks Heather...
The baptism looks good, I have other information that suggests his father was named William and his Mother Mary. Obviously hoping the birth cert will confirm it for me...
Regards
Arkie..
