George KEMP - Birth Certificate

I'm looking to order a birth certificate for a gentleman named George Kemp.

There are several that fit the bill on the BMD indexes, so I'm looking for help and suggestions in narrowing down which one to apply for. I have already received one wrong cert for George Kemp born 1870 district Hoxne.

This is what I know about my George Kemp.

Born abt 1870
Place of Birth: Thorndon, Suffolk
Fathers given name: Jacob
Mothers given name: Charlotte

Any help on which George Kemp to target in the BMD indexes would be much appreciated.

Hi Arkie,

The registration district for Thorndon seems to be Hartismere.

Best match I see on FreeBMD is George Albert Kemp, Sep 1869 Hartismere 4a 522. Any idea whether he could have been George Albert?  Smiley

Albert doesn't appear so far in the family so not sure if it was his middle name or not.

I was thinking of this entry as my next try, might just wait a little longer to see if anyone else has any thoughts before parting with more of my hard earned cash..
