If you use the Hugh Wallis site to access the IGI - http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountryEngland.htm#PageTitle you'll see that Keysoe marriages up to 1885 have been extracted, along with baptisms 1845-76. If they're not there it's unlikely any of the events was in Keysoe, so the next place to look is Gt Staughton, Hunts
The Hunts Marriage Index has a marriage in 1835 (I think - the last figure on the fiche isn't clear) in Gt Staughton between William Walsom and Cade Abbott Reynolds. I wonder if Cade Abbott might be what someone thought Kerenhappuch had said!
Gt Staughton PRs have been filmed by the LDS, but there is no transcription available from Hunts FHS. You'll need to order the microfilm from your nearest LDS Family History Centre, or view it at Huntingdon Records Office if that's closer.
I suspect you may well find the children's baptisms on it as well.
None of my ancestors waited 5 years for their first child. 5 months after the marriage to the first baptism was the average!
Regards
David

Hi David
Thanks for that info. I don't have an LDS centre within easy reach - 3 bus rides away!! and I live in the North of England. I will file the info away though for the next time I have time off from work and can travel. Most of my research has been done online so far.
Cade Abbott could actually be a mishearing of Keren Happuch, I think you could be right. Hmm. Well thanks once again.

There's an extracted baptism on the IGI at Melchbourne, which is only 3 miles from Keysoe, of KERENHAPPUAH REYONLDS (sic) on 9 Jul 1810, which might be her

Hi all, I looked up the name Kerenhappuah, or more likely Kerenhappuch on Google. Kerenhappuch was the name of Jobs third daughter, born after prosperity had returned to him.
Interestingly, I have found that such unusual and strongly biblical names (old testament names) have often cropped up in my Reynolds family from these villages and knowing of their strong allegiance to the Moravian church in the area I wonder if this family were linked as well!
And was Kerenhappuch their third daughter?? Looks like a possibility from the list of baptisms!!
Linda.

Thanks everyone for your findings.... the Kerenhappuch Reynolds looks very likely now, considering the surname of the marriage to William Walsom was Reynolds.
Is there anywhere I could look up the baptisms of Kerenhappuch's children? This could possibly point me in the right direction also of her surname?
Thanks once again

Baptisms are only in the parish register - see my post of the 28th. The LDS or Huntingdon. But that won't give Keren..' s maiden name.
However if you purchase the birth certificate of one her children that should show her maiden name
Indexes can be found at http://www.freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl or the original images at http://content.ancestry.co.uk/iexec/?htx=List&dbid=8964&offerid=0%3a7858%3a0
For example Louisa Walsome was born in the September quarter 1839 at St Neots registration district vol 14 page 209
