Hi Sarcy, This is the family I have found in 1851 H0107/1858 F213 P4
Stinsford Dorset Higher Bockampton
Thomas Keats Head Married age 29 Carrier b Dorset Stinsford Jane wife age 28 b Devon Colysford George S son age 6 b Stinsford Elizabeth C 1m b " Rachel Keats grandmother age 72 widow b Isle of Parbick Dorset Deaf Jane Keats Aunt age 48 b Stinsford George Richards Brother in Law unmarr age 21 Joiner-carpenter b Colysford
Now the 1861 census I found for George b c1845 Stinsford had grandparents William and Mary Keats? but still in Higher Bockampton.
I think I am beginning to confuse myself! What do you think ?
Well that certainly confirms that George was George S which makes the other bits you round with him bn ringwood all the more possible?! would you think that there is a chance he may have just recorded his birth place incorrectly, prehaps not even knowing he was born in Dorset not Ringwood!?
His grandparents were William and Mary, Rachel Keats was Williams mother Rachel nee talbot! and george richards would have been Janes brother!! that all fits, its just a case of deciding whether that is him in 71/81/91
