Can anyone help with the following?

Robert Brown & Mary Scott married about 1826 Foulden this is from IGI, there is no record on "scotlandspeople".

Catherine Brown, child of the above. b.24/11/1827 & bapt. 16/12/1827 Foulden, this again off IGI and nothing on "scotlandspeople".

Does any one have any records on Foulden or isn't there any, but why does IGI have them?

Hi Beckey

The main reason why they can be on IGI and not Scoptland's People is because for OPR Baptisms only those which were Established Church of Scotland appear on Scotland's People whereas IGI covers all OPR - sadly not every OPR register in Scotland has been extracted tho!

The best way to see the records from IGI if they are shown as extracted is to order the ilm (no will be given on IGI ref page with their detaisl) and visit your nearest Family History Centre. Submitted records are not exact copies of the OPRs and need to be treated with caution!

Yes I did get them of "scotlandspeople" so have both birth/bapt and the witnesses which were of help, it is the Foulden one that I can't get a print out for to get witnesses again.
