Hi Kathleen,

                     I've mentioned this before so I'll not go into it deeply.

       I always use a High Resolution Matt or Semi Matt or Satin to
         print my photo's. I get brilliant results.  I threw away my Glossy Paper
          years ago.

           If I was going to use glossy paper with a H.P. printer I would use H.P. Inks
            and H.P. paper. to get decent results.    I can print 2- 7"X5" photo's per
        sheet, get marvellous results and it costs me very little.

Hi Tomkin,

  Before I got into this computer world, I always had my photos printed on matte finish which I think looks a lot better.  Guess I'm off to the city one day soon. 

Maybe this thread will help others as it's helped me.
