Hi ,Does anyone know if, The Pack Horse Inn, Glassonby is still there,I have some relations that have put that address as their home in the Census for Glassonby. I have Googled ,but no luck.I would love to know more about the place and how when it started and how it ended up.

hi tsumi
i  have looked in cumbria yellow pages phone book and the pack horse inn is not listed with other pubs  so i dont think it is there any more. it may have been changed into a private house. if you go to www.visitcumbria.com and click on towns and villages then eden district a list of villages will come up and Glassonby will come up, then if you click on Glassonby a picture of the village from the air will come up.

Thanks for your time and input ,It,s an interesting site particularly  the aerial views but alas no Pack Horse Inn .I wonder if it has been turned into a house or maybe something else?.
