Hi folks, Thanks for the help with the Fell family but I now have a new problem.
William Fell (1835 Howden -1899 North Ormesby) was married to Sarah and had a family to her. He then married? Mary Ann Jacobs widow of Baxter Christmas Jacobs who had died in 1870. Mary Ann had a child to William - William Henry Fell in 1875. However there was another child - George Albert Fell  born abt 1873 but I cannot find details of his birth to determine if Sarah or Mary Ann is the mother. George Albert appears on the 1891 and 1901 census. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Geoff

I have a Charles Fell, born c 1895, who married  Maggie Cooperc1898 from Darfield - any chance we have a link??

William Fell and his family hailed from Howden which is about 40 miles from Darfield. I have no info on William's immediate family and only know he married my 2nd great grandmother when she was widowed.
