Hello
I need help to find William Garrad/Garrard/Garrod/Garred
born 1856 Wickham Skeith Suffolk.
In 1881 he is living at 7 Lower Rockliffe Spotland with wife Mary and son John age 5.
Any help greatly appreciated

I think the address looks like No 13 Vale Street Whitworth Bacup Spotland, Lancashire
William is a Cotton Blower by trade.

many thanks to you both. William has two uncles living in Vale Street in 1881 - at least four of the family went up to Lancashire - probably looked a better life than staying as an ag-lab in Suffolk. Thanks again
