Delighted to report - useful to me.  I found Edmond Byron's buriel at age 80, in 1831, which of course gave me his birth year as 1751.  It also told me he died in Poole but returned to his own Parish of Hampreston to be buried,  All exttremely useful stuff as this family of Dorset Byron's had defeated me.  They appeared from nowhere and decided to disappear in the same way.

If any are discovered, please let me know !

It's a fairly new and searchable database with some online images and more to come, and it's free.

They have Wills & Probate for a few parishes which are or were in Dorset - Chardstock, Wambrook, Netherbury, and Sutton Poyntz.
