Hi
I've been tracking my Stannett family from Wooburn in Bucks and I'm pretty much convinced they came over from Hurley in Berks in the 1600s.  My Richard Stannett b. 1662 Hurley has parents Thomas Stanat and Marye on the IGI; however, looking at the IGI records there are many Staninat/Staninot entries but nothing for Thomas.  Can anybody help find him?

(Richard married Dorothy Nevill in Wooburn, Bucks 22 10 1688 according to Phillimores.  Phillimores and ancestry.com have both confirmed the variants of Stannett.)
