« on: Saturday 07 July 07 00:50 UTC (UK) »

hi all

Does anyone know how i would go about findong where my 3 x gt grandmother was buried??

It was assumed that she was buried with her late husband when she died but from recent information she is not in the same plot as him!

Her death details are:

AUGUSTA ANNIE LEWIN nee Pamphilon
Died 19 Nov 1914 aged 61 at London Street, Godmanchester, Hunts
Cause: Carcinoma of the throat

Any help most appreciated with this!!

Regards

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago on this board

I would do as Dave did and try Huntingdon Records Office

Hi Emma,
There is a Church and graveyard in the centre of Godmanchester. St Mary the Virgin. There is also a very good view of the churchyard on Google Earth, just type in Godmanchester and zoom in on Godmanchester, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 tag. The graveyard is NE of the centre.
can't read the inscriptions though  Grin

Also for info there is a London Street, still there

Don't know if it helps

Cheers
Tony
