Thomas Donnelly b1858 in Roscommon married  Anne McManus b1860 in Wakefield in 1883.

The father of Thomas was Patrick Donnelly

I don't know any further information about this family back in Ireland.

I've managed to come forward but stuck on Patrick, does anyone know of these people or could point me in the right direction

Thanks so much for taking time to look through records.

My cousin greatly appreciate your help with this side of the family.

The trail starts with Daniel Donnelly who was my great aunts 2nd husband.  My cousin who remembers him had always said he was Irish, so off I went on a trail looking for him in the English 1901 census, in hope that he may have been in England then.

After years of searching, gave him up as a very bad job.  BUT, then in a moment of 'I'll get you yet...' I found him transcribed as Daniel Donlon born in Wakefield - the town where he lived when married to my g aunt.

I then picked up his father b Roscommon and Anne McManus, his wife b 1860 again in Wakefield.

You know my trail from there on.

Sorry to go on but have added more info incase this sounds familiar to other listers
