Historian999
Have been desperately seeking for some time some of the children of Nathaniel & Martha Jones (Blacksmith). The family moved across Herefordshire from the Radnorshire Border over a considerable time period finally finishing in Llanwarne. I understand both parents died in Abergavenny after the turn of the 20th century.
BIRTHS: William Arthur H. Jones C. 1866 Lyonshall. Jane Jones C. 1869 Cannon Pyon. Margaret Jane Jones C. 1872 Spond. (Possibility that Jane & Margaret are one and the same) (Margaret Jane married a Percy Criddle at Abergavenny 1918) Edward Leonard Jones C. 1888 Kington James (Jack) Jones C. 1894 (Buried Llanfoist Cemetery, Abergavenny with spouse Evelyn Mary C. 1900)
Any possible help or suggestions in my search for the above persons would be greatly appreciated.

Well, In 1901 it looks as though they have a daughter Louisa aged 24 and a son John E. aged 17...both born in Eardisley Also a grandson named Victor Jones aged 1 born Llanwarne.
Do you have that?
If not...I can type up the whole thing

Hi Neville,
So, am I right in saying that you are interested in what happened to the children of Nat and Martha after 1901...and their subsquent children?
That is going to be quite difficult....but the 1911 census might help.
All I can suggest is that up post a specific request on as many boards as possible....Ancestry, Genealogy.com...etc and be very specific with your questions.....for instance
Looking for the spouse and or children of Edward Leonard Jones born c1888 Kington, Hef.
You never know what might come up!
good luck Indi

Hi Neville
Can you be more specific as to exactly what info and which children you are asking about.
The 1871 does not have an entry for a daughter Jane b 1869 so she is presumably the one b 1871 and could be Margaret Jane. If so - she would have been 46 or 47 when she married Percy Criddle in 1918. Does that tie up with any info you have on her marriage?
Henrietta presumably died between 1871-1881 as she is not on the 1881 census for either England or Wales
Edward possibly died between 1891-1901 as he is not on the 1901 census and would only have been 13 at that time
There is no James or Jack with the family in 1901 - do you have his marriage cert confirming his father was Nathaniel?

There are a lot of children ! Could you post a list of the ones you have found with their dates of birth, and highlight the ones you are having difficulty locating ?
