Has anybody heard of Weight's Circus?
Possibly operating in the West Country
Maybe in the early 1900s ?

Any information would be appreciated

I believe Albert Trino Weight or his children may be involved with this circus

The Weight family are well known in British Circus, although Weights Circus stopped touring in fairly recent years - the 1980s I would guess. I don't have any info on them from the 1900s, but members of the family are currently performing - Claire Weight has been with John Lawson's Circus for the past three years or so.

You can find a link to John Lawson's on the links page of www.zipposcircus.co.uk together with some useful circus history/genealogy sites. I recommend asking on the appropriate message board of All The Fun Of The Fair, a very active forum, and on the Circus Biography message board to start with.
