Has anyone out there got Catherine Forbes born bc 1883 in Banffshire, in their tree. She died in 1967 in Hamilton, Canada.
She was the 2nd wife of Andrew Cardno, born 1879 in Fraserburgh, they married after his 1st wife, Marjory McPherson Barclay died in August 1928, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
She had previouly been married to George McIntosh, they had 5 children, he died in 1916,in Hamilton, Ontario. Catherine or Kate, married a Charles Paul, and had a daughter, Rubina. Not sure when he died, but Kate married for the 3rd time my grand uncle, Andrew Cardno x Fraserburgh.
A long shot that some one may recognise the names.

There are births for 2 Catherine Forbes (with that exact spelling) in Banffshire - one in 1883 and one in 1884. It is pay to view - the certificate image would name her parents. One of them may be the Catherine who appears in an IGI submitted record - listed as born 1884, married 1902 and died 1958 - the other may be yours You could also search for the prior marriage.

Andrew's first marriage looks to have taken place in 1907 in Fraserburgh. Can't see anything for a Catherine Forbes marrying a Paul XXX anywhere in Scotland.
Regards.
