Marriage

Hello
Could someone please tell me where I could find the marriage of Helen Dewar and James Platt, I have checked FreeBMD and I cant find the marriage in England.   Unfortunately I dont know when they married but Helen was born in 1875 (Kirkaldy) and James was born in Ashton (Lancashire) in 1874.

...but then again  Roll Eyes, how about his name was John rather than James:

Hi Jan

You're within the period (up to 1931 for Marriages) to buy the image on line at Scotlands People www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk, the official pay to view site for BMDs and census images. It costs £1.20 (6 units) to search/view each image (£6GB minimum purchase for 30 units). You can then save it and print it off. Much cheaper than ordering an official copy.
