Occupation Look up Brighton Please

I have an address in Brighton, 8A Park Crescent Brighton. Someone kindly looked this address up between 1930 and 1935 and found an Arthur William Smithyes. I am now trying to find out his occupation and if he ran his own business from this address, I would appreciate any help on this.
