Trade Directries completed
« on: Sunday 12 December 04 18:20 UTC (UK) »

Hello,
Can someone please tell me if there are any Trade Directries for Kincardine?
I am looking for "Hugh Durward" who was a master Tailor. I have him up till 1893 living at Logie Pert, where he was also Post master.
Thanks......snowolf

I don't have your specific Durwards mentioned in your message, but I do have a Durward line going back to the 1700s.  It is a rare spelling of a rare name so we probably have a connection somewhere along the line if you would like to exchange information.

hello ,thankyou jessied for replying ,well the male side of my durwards usually had the first name ,William ,john.james,david...i think there were a couple of charles too,.
however ive only got as far as early 1800's and they all came from st cyrus ,and mostly logie Pert(where the majority were buried) then around 1900 they seemed to spread their wings a bit and move further around..
I dont know if you had this trouble but i find that it's easier to find them in the 1800's than around the 1900. Roll Eyes     sorry to have taken a while to reply to you .....snowolf
