Hello,
I am looking for an ancestor who was a mariner by profession. I wonder if it is possible to find him if he was away at sea during the taking of any census. Does any one know?
I have found him in the 1891 census on land and also in 1901 on land. Other census searches have proved fruitless and so i presume he is at sea in the following years 1861, 1871, 1881.
The person I am looking for is
William Law Adamson
Born 1845 died 1905
In Liverpool Lancashire UK
