Oh Ive had some fun with this already - got details on:

Ambrose and Saunders Smith

Elias, Charles and Robert Boss

John Budd "Jack" Gray

Major and Zachariah Lee.

Incidentally you can access old bmd records for Tasmania AND NSW Australia online free. (It is an index same as UK but plenty of info included to help you on your way.)

For New South Wales:

(check the link on the right top of the page you can access the births and deaths from there)

For Tasmania:
http://www.archives.tas.gov.au/nameindexes

This is a pretty useful site with LOADS of links that include NSW Tasmania Victoria and Western Australia.
