Photo taken with wrong focus- is this a loss?
« on: Saturday 28 July 07 15:39 BST (UK) »

The photo was taken with the wrong focus, and I think it's a loss.

A Valentine with envelope sent abt 1810.

Sadly the original was lost in an overseas move.

Writing includes, I believe, "To my darling little boy"

Any improvement would be welcome; the Valentine may be upside down.

Hia,

I have been playing around with this picci for ages, and I still can not seem to make a recognizable difference. It seems like there is not enough data in the image, to enhance the writing.   Huh

I will keep on trying and researching to see if I can improve it slightly!

If I come across anything that may help, or of interest I will report back! Promise! Grin

Sadly I think it's probably a loss, as I expected.

Thank you for the effort however.
Gratefully, Helen

Hi Helen

I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm afraid there is too  much pixel damage and dead areas to retrieve anything.  So sorry.

Caz
