Falkirk census lookup
« on: Sunday 29 July 07 19:20 BST (UK) »

Looking for census entries for couple Agnes Clark / George Carlow married in Falkirk 1846 though they may have had children before this date.  Children's names known:
George, ?1844, Elizabeth 1853, Jane 1855, Alexander 1857, William 1859 all born Falkirk.

George was a pilot at some point around Grangemouth and they may have been in Falkirk itself, Stirlingshire or over into Linlithgow.

Can anyone find them in a census to give me a start?

That's great - definitely the same family with some names I didn't know about.
Does it say the parents were both born in Falkirk?
Any details helpful
Thanks

hi pal,

before i go any further i really must say that if should go online right now and get the birth cert for jane as she was born 25/10/1855 which is a magical year and will tell you lots about your family.

in the meantime i will look for them.

please keep this thread up to date with your find....we would love to know..

That's great work - much appreciated.

Don't have death certificates - working back from Livingstones in Fife - Margaret Livingstone married George jr , a clerk who became a station master in Glasgow. I have their marriage cert.

Can follow through now I know where to search
Thanks
