Cool High five, Pels and Karen!  Grin J.J.

Trapper, it so was sad that the family lost such a young father... Perhaps you can find the family mystery on the cert...
But now you can also go back into the family and see if Archibald was a family forename or surname! Have fun!  J.J.

I have finally got round to getting John Ferguson's Death Certificate, and he died March 1890 by drowning himself, which would explain why my Grandmother never mentioned him, they were probably ashamed back them, so very sad.  One thing I can't make out is the place he died it is very hard to read, it could be Wellington Quarry/Quay, Ullington Quarry/Quay or Uellington Quarry/Quay nr. Aspatria anyone have any ideas.

It was probably in the vicinity of what is now Wellington Farm (map) http://tinyurl.com/2dezoa
