You will need the marriage certificate to confirm his father's name, but this one is a possible
19 Kings Parade, St Andrew the Great, Cambridge Charles Wisbey Head M 48 Waiter (Inn) Cambridge Shelford Emma Wife M 43 Cambs Sawston Gertrude daur S 21 " " Sidney Son S 19 Cambridge Ernest Son S 18 Butcher " Marjory daur S 16 " Bertie Son 9 " RG13; Piece: 1532; Folio: 136; Page: 2
Of course Bertie might just be short for Albert and there are others, so you will need father's name confirmation

Hi,
Another possibility,
Birth Francis Bertie WISBEY Dec Q 1893 Hatfield v.3a p.545
1901 RG13/1308 f.21 p.33 Welwyn, Hertfordshire (Registration district: Hatfield) Woolmer Green
Jasper WISBEY Head 43 Railway signalman Herts Bramfield Elizabeth Wife 41 Ernest Son 11 Lily Daur 9 Bertie Son 7 Gertrude Daur 5 Cecil Son 3 All except Jasper born Herts Welwyn
I think that Woolmer Green is about 22 miles from Barrington.
I agree with MaryA that it looks like you're going to have to get the marriage cert.
Regards Daisy

I think that Woolmer Green is about 22 miles from Barrington Ah ha! I had no idea where Barrington was so as usual I rely on the person requesting the look up to get at least the county right.
I wonder what evidence there is that Bertie was born in that year and in that place? We don't seem to have been given anything to back that up, do we?

Hi,
I think it's one of those changing county times
Barrington 1837-1935 in Royston Registration District, Hertfordshire
Barrington 1935-1975 in Camridgeshire Registration District, Cambridgeshire
Info found here,
http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/royston.html
I wish places would just stay in one place
