Have never looked for South African records before but found something of interest on NAAIRS site and not sure what it means. Could someone explain?
1967 ILLIQUID case. Restitution of conjugal rights George Somerville Gilmore versus Bertha Gilmore (born Mouton). 1969 ILLIQUID case. Restitution of Conjugal Rights. Bertha Johanna Helena Gilmore (formerly Raad, born Mouton) versus George Somerville Gilmore.
The information I had originally is: George Somerville Gilmore (suicide?) married Betty Mouton. From the above NAAIRS index Betty was Bertha Johanna Helen Mouton who m.1 Raad. No idea when George died but what do above records refer to? Could the couple have been separated? or is this regarding George's estate? Any ideas?

I cant see anything else regarding george off hand. This is not his estate file and I cannot see a reference for his death notice. From Naairs I can tell you that the divorce happened in the Cape and she was married to a Raad initially.
Wasn't sure it was a divorce file because of word restitution in title. Sounds as though George probably died after 1969 then. I did find files on his mother, Elizabeth McIlroy Gilmore, which narrows her death down a bit (just had an estimate) but not yet able to find details about his father, William Gilmore, although there were several business refenerence that could pertain to him. Thanks so much for your help.

Is William GILMORE his full names?
