Hi Ecneps,
You must have money to burn. I would guess that they are 2,300 or 2,400mAH.
I can get 2 sets of 4 -2.800mh with free cases for £8-00 + P&P of £3-95.
The postage is the same no matter how big your order and as I always order quite a few items at the same time it is negligible.
Even if I ordered just the batteries I would still be paying only £12-00 for superior capacity batteries and 2 free cases.
Tomkin AKA Tomkin The Tight plus I've saved on shoe leather and petrol.
P.S. Tomkin AKA Tomkin The Even Tighter
P.P.S. We've got a lovely "Woolies" near us and I often pick up some good bargains.

I went to order some batteries the other day from a site, I can't remember which now, might have been through Amazon but the batteries were £2.50 - great, yer right, but the postage £11.80.
I bought mine on my way to the Opticians appointment, so would have used the petrol and shoe leather anyway and I don't have to wait 3 days for them to come

If you can buy cameras, batteries, memory cards, card readers, Computers, printers, scanners, food, make up, clothes, batteries, graphics tablets, external drives, tripods, books, family trees, etc. from the internet, then why not varifocals.
Tomkin - you are going slightly off topic. Baked beans have nothing to do with cameras!

Hi Ecneps,
Buying varifocals off the net is a bit riskier than buying standard glasses.
First get a prescription from an Optician then go to,
www.selectspecs.com.
Click on the British flag and on GB currencies.
All The treatments such as anti-dazzle, scratch Resistance, etc are all fitted as standard, i.e no extra cost.
Tomkin
P.S. always read the small print and conditions. From memory, standard glasses have a money back guarantee, Varifocals haven't. Mine are perfect but I could have saved a further 5% if I'd paid by cheque

There's only one brand of baked beans I eat and it doesn't come in a stripey blue and white can. Can't say I have ever tried to buy Baked beans off the net though, I really would have to be desperate, if I waited 3 days for the postman, I'd starve.
Anyway as Gadget says what's that got to do with cameras

Ok for anyone interested, I've used my Canon Powershot S5 on holiday for a week and I am very happy with it. It's a good camera, the only minus point is the lens caps which comes off too easily but as to its capabilities it does what I wanted, I am able to take closeups of birds, haven't tried any flowers - wrong time of year!
I'll post just a small handful of examples so that you can judge for yourselves. First I think shows the colours perfectly. The second I could not resist him! It zoomed in quite nicely and coped well with animals and birds behind wires, something I could never quite master with my old camera. It always focussed on the wire and not the beast behind!

Thanks guys I'm quite pleased with the outcome! Yes all in Isle of Wight
Here are two which prove I got what I wanted, a camera to take pictures of birds from hides. The first was from some distance and on 48x zoom and not too bad I think. The second was closer, about 15 foot in front of the hide again on 48x zoom.
